Lynn Roush

On staff since 2008
Lynn is a native of Chicago and grew up attending Moody Church as a pastor’s kid. In high school, Lynn felt drawn to the field of counseling and chose to study psychology at Taylor University. After graduation, she returned to Chicago to pursue a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. There she met Shay Roush, who was the most handsome eligible bachelor on campus. They were married 11 months later in 1997. After staying home to raise their three children, Jack, Emma and Owen, Lynn returned to counseling part-time at The Crossing. She currently provides individual and marital counseling for those facing a variety of life issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and relational conflict. Lynn is particularly passionate about helping people understand generational cycles of dysfunction, and how knowing truth and acting on it can break destructive patterns in marriages and families. *part-time
