Screenagers: Next Chapter

Wed., July 15, 6:30–8 p.m.

Over the past several years, researchers have noted how social media is changing our relationships and emotions–not always for the better. Social media has become one of the primary, if not the primary, means of connecting with others in a time of social distancing. What are some ways we can equip young people to grow with emotional health when experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression in the midst of a society saturated in social media? These issues are examined in Delaney Ruston’s documentary film, Screenagers: NEXT CHAPTER. Join us for a screening of the film followed by a Q&A led by Keith Simon. Please register everyone in your family that will be attending.

Note: This event is geared toward parents of students in 3rd-12th grade; middle school and high school students are welcome to join as well. There will not be childcare.
