Managing the Mess of Marriage

Event
October 25
Date/Time

*Registration is Closed*

Let’s just be honest, marriage is messy! Most of us hope and dream that our marriage will fulfill us and that our partner will meet all our needs. Yet it doesn’t take long for disappointment and hurt to set in when our expectations aren’t met. This class taught by Crossing Counselors John Tinnin and Lynn Roush will help you understand why marriage is a mess…and what to do about it! You will learn what drives emotional connection and how to build a lasting friendship with your spouse. Communication, conflict resolution, boundaries, trust, forgiveness and self-awareness are just a few of the topics covered in this class. The content will be helpful for married, engaged or dating couples, as well as singles who want to prepare themselves for marriage.

Every Sunday for 6 weeks starting on October 4th, you will receive pre-recorded videos to view at your own pace as you follow along with the outline provided. Certain topics will also include optional homework exercises that you can complete throughout the week. You can decide the best time in your schedule each week to watch the videos and learn the content with your partner. We hope that you take advantage of this online opportunity to learn new skills and build a healthy foundation in your relationship.
