Kids Club 2009

HEAR YE! HEAR YE!
The kingdom of Kids Club requests the honor of the presence of kids, ages 3 to rising 5th graders, for a medieval QUEST like no other.  As ladies and knights-in-training, you’ll spend a week seeking the True King and His Kingdom.  Along the way, you’ll meet interesting friends and foes of the King, create your medieval costume, play quest-training games, serve the Kingdom through special projects, and more.  New this year, you’ll partake in a kid-friendly feast each night.  Then, load your family in the carriage on Friday night and bring them to our Medieval Festival where you’ll finish out your QUEST!

Ages
3-year-olds (by June 7) through rising 5th graders. Please note that we have limited space in the preschool program (age 3–5), so volunteers’ children will get first priority.

Date/Times
June 8-12, 5:30-8:15 p.m. (Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday)
On Friday night, June 12 from 5:30-8:15 p.m., families are invited to the Medieval Festival for dinner and games. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.

The Crossing, 3615 Southland Drive

(near Rock Quarry Road, south of Grindstone Parkway)

All kids and volunteers will be served chicken fingers or pizza with veggies or fruit (on alternating nights) during snack time.  Make sure to eat a healthy snack before arriving, since you’ll be eating later than usual.

Cost & Deadline
$25/child (includes a t-shirt and dinner each night).
Late Fee: After May 31, cost increases to $30 for each child.

NEW!  T-shirt Pick-UP
Kids, be sure to pick up your t-shirts on Sunday morning, June 7 (or Monday night at Kids Club), so you can wear it each night of the week!  Volunteers will get t-shirts at the Volunteer Training, on June 7, 12:15 p.m. (see QUEST Team FAQs link below).
