Lewis & Erwin McManus (living a Christian life); Bono & Rob Bell (living for others); Mother Teresa & Meredith VanWieren (about living simply); Brian Aulick & Matt McMann (just about being real); Joel Boyles (musical influence); Ireland, Lake Michigan (visually inspirational); mom & dad, aunt Judy (family is the best influence).

 

Epic Moments: Being baptized in the Jordan river; standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon; living in Zion National Park; traveling through Israel & Greece; cross-cultural mission experience to Zambia, Africa; zip-lining across a canyon near Victoria Falls; visiting Ground Zero; my Dad's cancer; the birth of my niece and nephews.

Education: Taylor University, Upland, Indiana

Favorite Bands/Music: Radiohead, Wilco, Elbow, Dave Matthews Band, Jeff Buckley, Stephane Pompougnac, U2, The Beatles / love jazz...basically anything BUT country music and heavy metal.

Best Invention: The ipod

Favorite Movies: Lord of the Rings, Dances With Wolves, The Princess Bride, This is Spinal Tap, Waking Life, Dead Poets Society, Schindler’s List, Pride & Prejudice

Favorite Shows: Chuck, Heroes, Lost, The Office (i guess the best shows only have one word...unless you count "the"), anything on HGTV

 

Spare Time: Reading, painting, hiking, travel, and time with friends.

Fear Factors: Spiders, hospitals, needles, and public speaking.

Biggest Frustration:
Driving in snow, increasing unecessary expense of the cable bill, and consumerism.


Passion: Pursuing Jesus, helping other people pursue Jesus; travel to every continent on earth except Antarctica.


Motivation: Desire to please God.
