Influences: My husband, my parents, Christian sorority sisters, staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, Kay Arthur, John Piper.

Epic moments: Standing on the edge of a mountain in Ebanzie, Austria in 1988, walking in a lightening storm in Ocean City, NJ with my husband in 1994, and the day each of my four kids were born.

Education: University of Missouri; BA Journalism-Advertising.

Favorite bands/music: I’m a Country girl at heart.

Best Invention: Chapstick.

Favorite book(s): Historical fiction books, Narnia series, Anne of Green Gables series, and Shepherding Your Child’s Heart by Tedd Tripp.

Favorite movies: My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and any movie with a happy ending.

Favorite shows: No time for tv.

Spare time: Reading, lunch with friends, taking a nap, and exercising.

Fear factors: Blindness.

Biggest frustration: When life is unorganized.

Passion: Being creative with kids.
